Devil, a movie also known as The Night Chronicles: Devil, will be another supernatural film thriller which will surely grip you with fear! Directed by John Erick Dowdle (Quarantine, The Poughkeepsie Tapes) together with his brother Drew, this movie will be the first of the The Night Chronicles trilogy, which involves the supernatural within the modern urban society. This film which is a story written by M. Night Shyamalan (The Sixth Sense, Signs) and script by Brian Nelson (Hard Candy, 30 Days of Night) is scheduled to be released on September 17, 2010.
The movie focuses its story about five strangers who, in an ordinary day, found themselves trapped in an elevator of a certain building. After some incomprehensible events that occurred and as the rescuers were unable to take them out of that horrifying situation, they started to turn against each other suspecting that one of them is in fact, the Devil. Filled with terror, they try to come out of the elevator as they are threatened by the devil in disguise. This film captures the events that go in this harsh tour where they are forced to make the hardest decisions filled with fear and suspicion…and who have their lives changed forever as they are thrown into a world of living hell in a most undesirable and unanticipated way.
Devil movie stars Chris Messina (Julie & Julia), Geoffrey Arend (500 Days of Summer), Logan Marshall-Green (Brooklyn’s Finest), Bojana Novakovic(Drag Me to Hell), Jenny O’Hara(Mystic River), Bokeem Woodbine (The Last Sentinel) and Jacob Vargas (Death Race).
