It’s not a long time since we have witnessed the love story that revolved around Bella and Edward in the Twilight Saga: Eclipse. Yes, it lingered us things that shows and proves how love can change everything, no matter what. We even know that maybe some of you wishes and desires to watch another one. This time, another story will again demonstrate and will make us realize the significance and power of love in another aspect.
Going the Distance is an upcoming romantic comedy film directed by Nanette Burstein that will feature the real life couple Justin Long and Drew Barrymore. This movie centers its story about lovers, Garret and Erin, who is trying to keep their relationship alive even in a distance.
While Garret (Long) is still working to provide ‘emotional’ treatment for pain caused from a recent breakup, he met Erin (Barrymore), an unflinchingly girl with a big talent for bar trivia. Hitting it off immediately, they spend summer together given to thoughts and feelings of romance in New York City.
As the fall approaches and Erin returns into San Francisco and Garret stays behind for his job in New York City, the thing which is supposed to be just a summer fling turned into a much unexplainable feeling deep inside both of them. Subsequently dividing his days between working and hitting the bars with best friends Box (Jason Sudeikis) and Dan (Charlie Day), Garrett drops everything whenever Erin calls.
The more Garrett’s phone rings, the more his friends begin to suspect that he is taking the relationship a little too seriously. On the other side, Erin’s sister Corrine (Christina Applegate) is making sure that her smitten sibling doesn’t repeat the mistakes of her past and she makes no attempts to sugarcoat the fact that she disapproves of the long-distance relationship. Despite all of these, the feeling grows deeper as the time is spent together through texting and late-night phone calls until they suspected and felt that it could be the real thing.
This film takes a look at trials and tribulations of a long- distance relationship that would test their patience and faith. Going the Distance is scheduled for release on September 2, 2010. This movie, written by Geoff LaTulippe, will also star Charlie Day, Jason Sudeikis, Ron Livingston, Jim Gaffigan, Kelli Garner, Rob Riggle and Christina Applegate. Never miss to watch Going the Distance movie as it will surely leave us another ‘spark’ of feeling and realization of how significant the foundation of love is!
