You Again is a new comedy movie that is scheduled for released on September 24, 2010. Directed by Andy Fickman and written by Moe Jelline, this movie definitely has some potential based on its all- star female cast.
The story started when a young woman, Marni (Kristen Bell) go way back home for her older brother’s (Jimmy Wolk) wedding and discovers that he is going to marry Joanna ( Odette Yustman),who was Marni’s High School arch enemy, and sets out to reveal the fiancée’s true identity. The plot become more intense when Marni’s mother Gail (Jamie Lee Curtis), meets up with Joanna’s aunt Ramona (Sigourney Weaver), and it was discovered that Ramona and Gail, like them, were also high school rivals. Now the claws come out and wounds having lived for a relatively long time are opened in this crazy comedy which proves that not all rivalries are forever.
In this Andy Fickman- directed movie, Kristen bell plays the leading character as Marni, Betty White as Grandma Bunny, Jamie Lee Curtis as Gail, Odette Yustman as Joanna, Sigourney Weaver as Aunt Ramona, Jimmy Wolk as Will, Billy Unger as Ben, Kristen Chenoweth as Monique Leroux, Kyle Bornheimer as Tim, Christin Lakin as Taylor, Victor Garber as Mark, Cloris Leachman as Helen, Sean Wing as Charlie, Patrick Duffy and Jenna Leigh Green as Heather.
While the scheme doesn’t look so refreshingly new, it carries a PG rating and may provide some great amusement in one of those lighthearted female “who’s better than who” competitive kind of movies.
